Lesson Plans

The following instructional materials consist of a series of stand alone lessons aimed at middle school students including their lesson plans, handouts, and technology links. Within the table, the icons indicate additional and related materials included with each lesson plan. Teachers can pick and choose from the lessons to create a customized mini-unit of instruction that uses earthquake engineering design to integrate science, mathematics, and technology. The tables on the right show the emphases and support materials for each lesson.
