Education Sources
These Education Sources provide users with Web resources on the subjects of earthquakes, natural disasters, and engineering topics, all from an education or learning tool angle. The sites and sources were selected by the librarian staff of the Information Service for their quality, usefulness, and current information. Many of these sites are gateways to further resources and all are freely available to the public.

The majority of these exercises were developed for the K-8 audience and are designed to illustrate fundamental earthquake concepts. As an added benefit, most exercises have a hands-on portion for the students requiring them to build testing tools to further enhance their understanding.
