GEOMATE2013
The Third International Conference on Geotechnique, Construction Materials and Environment will be organized in conjunction with Nagoya Institute of Technology, GEOMATE International Society, Japanese Geotechnical Society, AOI-Engineering, Useful Plant Spread Society, HOJUN and Glorious International. It aims to provide opportunities to share common interests on geoengineering, construction materials, environmental issues, water resources, and earthquake and tsunami disasters. The conference will be dedicated to the tragic Tohoku-Kanto earthquake and tsunami disasters.

Dam Safety 2013
ASDSO’s national conference is well known throughout the U.S. and internationally as a resource for practical information on the day-to-day activities of those working to keep dams safe. The primary focus of the conference is the effective application of knowledge and technology to real-life problems faced by dam safety professionals. ASDSO invites all persons interested in the safety of dams to submit abstracts of papers to be considered for presentation at the ASDSO 29th Annual Conference. Engineers, geologists, hydrologists, dam owners, state, local or federal officials, industry representatives and others working in the field of dam safety are invited to share their experiences.

The Tenth U.S. National Conference on Earthquake Engineering, on the 50th Anniversary of theGreat Alaska Earthquake and Tsunami, will provide an opportunity for researchers and practitioners to share the latest knowledge and techniques to mitigate the damaging effects of earthquakes and tsunamis. This conference is being planned by the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI) in collaboration with the George E. Brown, Jr. Network for Earthquake Engineering Simulation (NEES). The conference will provide a unique environment to facilitate synergy between professionals and student researchers from the U.S. and around the world. This conference brings together professionals from a broad range of disciplines, including architecture, structural engineering, seismology, geology, geophysics, geotechnical engineering, business, public policy, social sciences, regional planning, emergency response planning, and regulation.

2013 fib Symposium
Abstracts are invited for the 2013 symposium with its theme, “Engineering a Concrete Future: Technology, Modeling and Construction.” Directed at innovative aspects of concrete engineering in its various stages, its topics include several distinctive areas of interest including: Advanced and innovative cementitious materials and concrete; Constitutive modeling of cementitious and composite materials; Design concepts and structural modeling; Punching and shear in RC and in PC (prestressed concrete); Challenges in bridge engineering; Advances in precast and PC engineering; Concrete structures under seismic and extreme loads; Pioneering structures and construction methods; Structural aspects of tunnel construction and design.

IALCCE 2014
