Chris Tokas, of California’s Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD), addresses more than 60 attendees at an MCEER/OSHPD-sponsored Hospital Research & Retrofit Seminar, held in conjunction with MCEER’s Annual Meeting. The seminar served to update OSHPD engineers on the progress of MCEER’s hospital research. Tokas is manager of OSHPD’s hospital seismic retrofit program.
