MCEER
Joins Multi-lateral Reconnaissance Team to Investigate the Effects of the
Tsunami/Earthquake Disaster in South Asia. Ranked as one of the most
catastrophic events in recent times, the Indonesian earthquake and subsequent
tsunami has caused significant damage in 11 countries and resulted in over
150,000 casualties. Countless others are without housing and basic services.
MCEER has joined a Thailand-Japanese Team of engineers who will be visiting
hard hit areas in Thailand in early January 2005. Click here
