Prof. Salamone Receives ASNT Grant to Develop New Course on Structural Health Monitoring and Nondestructive Evaluation Methods

Professor Salvatore Salamone has been awarded a 2011 Faculty Grant from the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT). The grant will support the development of a new graduate course on structural health monitoring and nondestructive evaluation methods, which will be offered in the Department of Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering at the University at Buffalo. The ASNT Faculty Grant is given every year to no more than two academic institutions in the U.S. The award was presented at the ASNT Fall Conference and Quality Testing Show in Palm Springs, CA, in October 2011.
