Highway Project Update

MCEER’s Highway Project is a multi-year effort focused on reducing the seismic vulnerability of the national highway system. Its Research Committee recently met in Reno, Nevada on March 3-4 to review progress on current research tasks and plans for future research activities. A meeting of the Highway Seismic Research Council (HSRC), who serve as an oversight committee for the project, is scheduled for May 28-29 in Buffalo.
