MCEER Participates in ASCE Expressions Program
Andrew McNeil of MCEER’s Information Service participated in the Engineering Expressions Program sponsored by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Buffalo Section on December 2, 2009.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the program introduces local students to engineering concepts through four hands-on workshops presented by ASCE member volunteers.
This year’s edition was presented to over 180 5th and 6th grade students at Buffalo City Honors School. The events included a materials workshop where the students made concrete and a structures unit where students built and tested simple bridges.
