Quake Summit 2011 will be held at both the Hyatt Regency Buffalo and the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center in Downtown Buffalo. Check the Quake Summit Program for specific session locations. The ASCE/SEI 7-10 Continuing Education Seminar will also take place at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo.
Hotel Accommodations - NEW HOTEL RESERVATION DEADLINE!!
A block of rooms for Quake Summit 2011 are reserved at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo at a special rate of $125.00 per night plus tax. The newly renovated hotel is connected to the Convention Center via a pedestrian walkway and is located in the heart of Buffalo’s theater and entertainment districts.
The hotel will host sleeping rooms for Quake Summit 2011 plus the NEES Committee Meetings on June 8 & 9, the ASCE/SEI 7-10 Continuing Education Seminar on June 9, and the Student Symposium on June 9. **Make your reservation by May 20, 2011 to ensure the special rate. Transportation, Directions and Parking
To/ From Buffalo Niagara International Airport:

Bus - Bus #204 runs from the Buffalo airport to downtown. The cost is $1.75 each trip or $4.00 for a 24 hour day pass.

ITA Shuttle Service - 716-633-8294 (Phone is answered "Airport Taxi.") Cost: $18.00 one-way or $36.00 round trip.

Taxi - various taxi companies service the airport and the hotel. Please proceed to the Ground Transportation area on the lower level, outside of baggage claim. Cost is approximately $35 to the hotel.

Student Symposium Presenters:
Accommodations (room and taxes only) for student symposium participants may be paid by MCEER/NEES (if funding is available) for the nights of Wednesday June 8, Thursday June 9, Friday June 10 and Saturday June 11. Students will be required to share a room. All students are responsible for their own incidental room charges such as telephone, room service, movies or other miscellaneous items. Upon check-in, you will be asked to provide a credit card to cover these incidental expenses. Students will be informed if NEES/MCEER will pay for their room. Do NOT make a separate reservation with the link above.
