Interstate 110 connects Biloxi with D’Iberville and has a moveable center span to allow for navigation of boat traffic. It is a modern design probably built in the 1980’s. More precise data will be provided upon review of the bridge inventory database.
A railing on the northbound lane was apparently hit by a large object during the storm. This railing is approximately 100 feet above the water, making further information necessary. On the date of inspection (September 7), the bridge was open to all traffic but was restricted to one northbound traffic lane.
