Figure 1 shows the three bridges over Biloxi Bay. The photograph faces north,
and the bridge shown at the top is a railroad bridge that survived. The tracks
were washed off but the substructure and superstructure survived. Figure 2
shows a detail of the shear blocks that probably helped to laterally restrain
the P/S girders.
