The American Legion Post 119 in Gulfport, MS is a light steel frame building located on US 90, opposite to the coast. The building consists of a two story rectangular frame adjoined with a single story frame that appears to have served as an auditorium. The majority of the cladding, made of insulated metal panels, was removed from the frame as shown in Figure 1. Also, the southern bay of the single story portion of the building collapsed as shown in Figure 2.
